JOB DESCRIPTION
The KidsLife Ministry Teacher Supervisor has a passion for building teams who work with children as they learn about the Bible and growing a faith relationship. The Supervisor is responsible for collaborating and assisting in the management of all KidsLife Care part-time staff as they lead classroom activities during regular service times and during weekly events at the church.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Kidslife.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Work in partnership with the other Supervisor in the regular management of KidsLife Teacher Staff
- Responsible for the training of all part-time Childcare Staff to ensure effective ministry to children in the classroom environment
- In collaboration with the KidsLife Care leadership, create and manage work schedules, inclusive of checking time clock submissions and ensuring proper coverage for all events
- Inform staff of schedule changes, including additions to the team, service changes, and absences
- Ensure effective and productive relationships between part-time staff and volunteer team members by collaborating with the entire KidsLife Staff
- In collaboration with the KidsLife Care leadership, manage and monitor employee performance and attendance and implement disciplinary actions as needed
- Collaborate with other ministries to schedule, plan, and implement special events childcare requests within church guidelines
- Understand and apply child safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Human Resources in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees to maintain necessary staffing levels
- Be available to work as scheduled - will include certain nights and weekends
- Attend trainings as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church.

- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and be physically able to complete all safety and security protocols with no assistance
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Some college or college degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Previous experience working in a child ministry experience is preferred.
