Rate: Starting at $45,000 - $48,000, depending on experience


JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The System Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in planning, organizing, measuring, and assessing stock levels for Joel Osteen Ministries and Lakewood Church. The core duty of this role is to keep precise inventory records, analyze data for demand forecasting, and enhance inventory management practices. This position necessitates extensive communication with a range of internal and external stakeholders, such as third-party warehouses and during vendor negotiations. It focuses on the management of digital records and does not entail physical work within a warehouse.

This position reports to the Financial Reporting / Inventory Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

  • Supervise and maintain the records of all real-time inventory levels to ensure the minimization of product obsolescence and out-of-stock items
  • Evaluate all inventory levels using Microsoft Excel
  • Assist with developing key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the inventory management operations
  • Prepare performance-based reports related to inventory to make decisions and solve problems to optimize inventory based on cost and service level
  • Provide excellent customer service to determine customer and supplier product information while representing Lakewood Church
  • Coordinate, create, and administer the inventory purchase orders process
  • Support Bookstore in inventory functions throughout the year
  • Analyze and identify the cause of inventory discrepancies and errors in Microsoft D365 CE & F&O to provide resolutions
  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
  • Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
  • Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church.

  • Advanced Level skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP Required)
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create relevant reports and metrics, analyze, and problem-solve in an intricate supply chain environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Business or related field, or 2-3 years of supply chain experience
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 CE and FO preferred
