Rate: Starting at $18 - $21, depending on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position assists the data services department with maintaining accurate database records on members, staff, volunteers, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for speed, accuracy, and attention to detail as it relates to processing data and be dedicated to meeting strict deadlines.

This position reports to the Manager of Data/Customer Service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Process and reconcile gift donations
• Research file numbers
• Servicing all internal and external requests for creating and updating database records
• Print and mail letters
• Provide member assistance
• Respond to incoming emails
• Become familiar with products and promotional offers
• Stop, update, and create recurring gifts
• Enter and update source codes
• Adhere to and maintain to assigned work schedules
• Other related duties as assigned

This will also include:

• Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
• Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
• Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate effective time management skills
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Strong alpha & numeric data entry skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-production, high-quality work environment
• Database experience
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Some college preferred
• 2 years of experience in a Customer Service/Data Entry environment
