Creative Project Specialist

Salary range: $47-53k, Dependent on Experience

The Creative Project Specialist is responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects of the project are organized and delivered on time. This role will provide support to the Senior Creative Manager and work closely with the projects team within the marketing department to ensure that project requirements, deadlines, and expectations are met. The Creative Project Specialist will specialize in marketing plans, schedules, assets, and overall project organization to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

This position reports directly to the Creative Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

• Create, review, and help roll out marketing plans through the creative team for various ministry and Church-wide campaigns
• Collaborate with the projects team to develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met
• Coordinate project resources and tasks, ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
• Coordinate the work schedule of the designers
• Inform Manager of Creative Strategy of project status to keep stakeholders informed about project updates and timelines
• Maintain communication with Next Gen staff on incoming projects and current project status
• Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or roadblocks that may arise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives
• Manage the organization and storage of creative assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for team members
• Ensure timely delivery of finished creative design to project requestors
• Other related duties as assigned

• Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
• Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
• Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church

QUALIFICATIONS

• Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, mission, values, and core beliefs
• Previous experience with social media platform management in a professional environment
• Ability to work with project management platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent writing and grammar skills
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel and personalities
• Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple assignments concurrently
• Pro-active approach, flexibility, and a positive attitude are extremely important

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or related equivalent work experience preferred
• 3 years of experience in a professional marketing coordination is preferred
